I never really got started, I tried to make a few of my own tools, and of course pick a lock, it went horribly wrong. There was no reason to why i thought I'd start, just I figured it could be quite handy.

The skill appealed to me, a good trick. I read the MIT guide and then when tried I realised it was a lot harder than I had thought.. However persistence pays off.

Well I've bben studying lockpicking for the last few days but I haven't picked anything yet. I just find that it would be a very useful skill. Also.... I have a list of things to do for the summer and there is a certain phonebox in my town that keeps staeling my money so.......

Well I started out using a pair of paper clips (One thicker then the other one,) in the small locks that some people keep tool sheds closed. So once I did that I got interested in this type of stuff so when I ran across a small set of basic lockpick stuff at a Goodwill I bought it. Around the age of 15 I became good at it and some kid was selling some stuff his dad gave him. I bought a better set then I had and now I can do good with that set.
