i picked a master combo lock in under 4 seconds, but that dosnt really count.
my best is probably 10 seconds on a lock i bought specialy for picking.id picked the lock so many times,i knew exactly where each pin went.i picked it in my sitting room while watching tv,(i find thats the best time to practice picking locks).id been picking locks for about....6-12 months when i picked it that time. |

I have been frustrated for in upwards of 20 minutes trying to pick some locks.. then I will walk away from it frustrated, have a cigarette.. race back, and on the FIRST rake had it. It's amazing really. You may have had it many times, but for whatever reason, were sloppy with the tensioner and missed the shear.
Welcome to the wonderful world of lockpicking. It's as much an art as a science. |

I agree completly or even if I get too tense while trying to pick a lock sometimes I cannot do it! For me it is quite a bit to do with just relaxing my body and allowing it to happen!
