I found an empty zippo lighter, so now I was wondering if someone knows a good alternative fuel. (I have no zippo-fuel)

Had you UTFSE, you would have known that there the only difference between zippo fluid and other brands is simply the price.

I tried with other fuels but they evaporate to quickly.
(for clarity, I'm searching for fuels other than "normal" lighter fuel) ******************************* Tips on how to get advice: -Use adverbs -Spell words correctly -Use basic English grammar Bohrium Last edited by Bohrium; 28-06-2008 at 06:25 PM. Reason: cleaning up the crap |

There aren't many substitutes that will work. Charcoal grill lighter fluid should work, because it's basically the same thing as zippo fuel. Everything else either burns too fast/evaporates too fast or the flash point is way too high.

Then you should improve your English before you post again.
