Whether you like him (or not) or agreed with his methods (or not), you must admit that NBK was one of the best things that ever happened to the E&W community. Even mega said, in the obituary he wrote, that he didn't always agree with NBK's methods. Without NBK, RS would, more than likely, be another BS.

As for the incident that you mentioned, Beyond, I lean towards your failure to properly UTFSE to find the answer to the question or that you did not see the 'big picture' in regards to the n00b's question.

Read my thoughts on the NBK's practices in this thread.

We can all look to NBK's persona for inspiration to cut through the crap and accept only the best in our hobbies.

RIP NBK, an inspiration for me and many others.

Just because you can do something does not mean it's not fucked up. This thread was meant to pay respects..or something.

You CAN go to a funeral and tell everyone that the deceased was a fat drunk who deserved to die, but you're still an asshole for doing it.

First, I didn't post the question so I had no obligation to use.

Second, when he flamed him I thought to myself, well damn, let me just look it up on my own. So I looked, looked, and looked. There was nothing. Find the thread. I welcome you to find a thread about the topic discussed before my post date. I'll gladly eat my own words if you prove me wrong.

Like I said, I told him I searched and searched and that he was out of line, his only response was "BAN".

So, just because you're on the internet means you have to be a naysaying sack of shit?

This sounds like a condition known as "e-peen-ism", I'm sure it's self-explanatory. Unfortunately NBK suffered from this condition as well, however he managed to control it to an extent.

Promise this is my last angry post for awhile..

Why be immature about it? You don't think the world held their tongue when Hitler or Saddam died do you? I'm simply sharing the only experience I had with the guy. I disliked him.
