I would not be as concerned about that although I personally would never post such a video but since I am not active in synthesizing things I think it hardly would apply to me so much! But of course I am grateful of the concern. I wonder however do videos make it too easy? Too supplement information videos may be great but if you cannot learn by reading then should you be involved in this?
I will of course allow videos up but I do not envision setting up a youtube type setup in the near future!

I can make a video if you want, once I get familiar with AP then I will create a final batch before I move onto a more difficult HE. I'll write a lab report on it as well such as the Rogue Sci's "Beginner's Guide to AP".

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the juicy videos should only be accessible to more seasoned members though?

The less complicated, or perhaps less "incriminating" videos could be available to the newer members. After all, we wouldn't want a bunch of idiots being spoon-fed information that they will likely kill themselves with...

I wouldn't hide information from people with a low post count. Some of the most intellegent members may only be lurkers, while a Kewl could be a post whore. I think that if we are going to host the videos, let everyone see them. It may be less incrimination if (during the video) there is no mention of the compounds use as a HE, just keep it scientific using complicated names for things. Not only will this discourage Kewls, but it will give us the "Oh shit, is that stuff that I made really explosive? I was just trying an organic chemistry lab I found on the internet."
