Well I won't doubt it as Zinc/Sulphur works. But it aint no flash Powder. Unless you've mistaken a common abbreviation for a flash powder (With an actual oxidizer) as Mg/S.

I've heard reports of Zn and S mixes behaving like weak flash, never got it to work myself in that respect but I presume particle size plays a big role.

Nice!
Still love KMnO4 flash for it's availability. KClO4...Did you get it from an online company? I'd imagine you're not from Ireland.

Prob wouldn't be as fast. But I bet the color flash will be a nice green
![]() Huh.. Odd KMnO4 is more available to you than chlorates.... Ya would pretty much be ALL down to particle size. But still, tis technically not a flash P... Say a friend just pointed out a source of Al I had never though of. Tis completely unpractical for its price etc.. but still!! One of the etch/sketch boards! Apparently its incredibly fine (Having thats same grey almost green color of high mesh Al.)
