Default How to make a ball mill

hi

How could I make my own ball mill, I mean i havnt got any experience with electronics and I dont know which motor can be used.
Is it possible that any motor for a ball mill can run with 10V???
(DC train toy spowersupply).

Which motor, how is it constructed, I am afraid of killing myself when I
connect the wires on to the electricity.

I'd go for a windscreen-wiper motor, go to a local car scrapyard, they're pretty common. They'll run happily off of a 12V supply so 10V will do. As for plans, I'm working on some for mine as a long term project. But don't expect to see them for a VERY long time.

I prefer to use washing machine motors. It is powerful and run for a long time without getting hot. I built my own new ballmill using this type of motors. Also, you don't need a battary , you only need your home electricity to run it.

hi

I have a electricitycapacity of 230V, and I wont imagine what would happen if I connect a 230V stream onto the wahingmachine motor if it is connected false.....

Because I have no experince with cable colour and electricity.
PS: Do the windowscreen wiper motor become hot in a very short time(10V)?
