Why i think that the explosions on Branic are fake and very unrealistic

I loathe braniac with a burning passion. On the 'alkali metals' episode, when they drop the more-reactive metals into the bathtub, sharp-eyed viewers can see a black cord running into the bottom of the tub - Undoutabley an e-det line.

Mythbusters is better, but only just. They do a wonderful job of bringing science and skepticism to the public - Getting the proles to think for themselves and start questioning thigns they are told. However, their scientific method is laughable at best - Single instance experiments, small subject groups, loosely-defined or even arbitrary limits... it hurts me to watch them draw conclusions, sometimes.
