Default What programming syntax do you prefer?

Ok, personally my favourite programming syntax is that of PHP. It includes that of C, C++, etc..
I see it as very structured, and defined. You are clear to when a statement ends, and there is no confusion with code blocks, etc.
However, some people like that of python, VB, even batch for Christ's sake!
What do you think? And why?

I like XHTML/HTML and C.

I love the way the tags end with XHTML, the <p> and </p>.

And C, well I just love the use of the {} even it it's crap they are a whole 2 keep presses away... ( *wants to re-map his keyboard*)

Yeah, (x)HTML is very structured and layered! <div>'s always fuck me up though .

The {} brackets in C keep it very clean.. You can see exactly what's happening in the code block by looking out for the two, and it's just nice.. lol. Using the ; to end a statement, it great!
It keeps it readable, and if you want, you can have piles of code on one line. No idea why you would do this, but hey, at least you can..

I wrote (insert stupid over-complicated program here) on 3 lines I am HARDCORE! Or not...

Writing code is about human readability, not about how many lines, not that you should be afraid of trying something amazing and inspired to make the code more compact.

Oh, Twitch, if you want any help with <div></div> tags, I can help you, or try to :P They're pretty core to most modern XHTML / CSS web design.

Haha, I guess you're right . Hmm, I may take you up on that . I'm designing (trying to) a layout for a CMS I'm building at the moment, and it's being awkward! I'll have a look through it and talk to ya about the bit I'm lost with! Thanks!
