Ive been meaning to play about with those picaxe chips for a while, when i was doing my electronics gcse, we made a project to work around them, and then we ran out of time to actually do the programming (teachers kind of cocked up the course :P ), so I never got my hands on the chips.

Might just have to order some to have a play with though (dammit, I need a job)...

very nice. Looks like you are programming the chip in BASIC (if I am not mistaken). Is there a way to hook up other high level languages C or C++ to it? Like you write your code in C and it generates the appropriate instructions for your chip?
