Aye.. IIRC, Doucherman was working with something in the high voltage range.. About 9000 volts. He got zapped. The amperage was low but it still wasn't fun :/.

I recently dismantled a little prank shocker and found a 1 volt battery and a copper coil (probably for the ampes) and it shocks pretty bad! I am looking for instructions on how to make one of those with a bigger battery.
Anyone have tutorials, instructions for making one of those?

I'm new to stuff regarding electricity and all.. If you had a longer length of copper coil would it make it worse?
Also, why does the coil make it worse? The current is spinning, so it builds up speed, therefore faster (greater voltage; worse shock even with middling ampage?)

The coil is typically and autotransformer. The amps are extremely low, but the coil can produce very high voltages. If you want to make a bigger version of that, I recommend an ignition coil from a car.

TheFallen, I used google and found nothing.. Once again I will say that I need instructions on how to make something as simple as a shock pen.. Not a stun gun!
