The ar15 with the .223 is very accurate up to 200 yards. Thats about all you would need for any situation. The ak47 is a accurate gun also. Don't believe what people say about the ak47. Its now used in the us army as the ar15 is. Its all preference on what you like, what feels best, and what looks best. You can go in the gun store and ask to hold and check out these guns. If you can afford the ammunition get a ps90. At least check it out. It no doubt is the most comfortable gun I have ever put up to my shoulders.

The AR15/M16 was one of the sexiest weapons I have ever held. I loved it. That said, I've never fired an AK47. I was building a custom one, had the receiver and everything but lost interest.

I was just shooting my freshly cleaned ar15 and after about 6 shots it jammed. So ar15 sexy or whatever, "you can tell its matell". The bullet didn't eject out of the chamber and its impossible to fix that when your in a combat situation without a rod to knock it out. You need something reliable and the ar15 is not reliable. If I didn't have my glock as my sidearm I would be kinda scared to only have a ar15.

Oh yeah and my ar15 is a DPMS. They mostly make custom ar15's. One of the best out there.

The PS90 is a bit expensive even for the gun. $1600 last time I checked (which was a while back). The 5.7mm ammo is perfect for CQB, even for penetrating vests.

I have been shooting for a long time, and old habits are hard to break. Having shot the PS90, I don't really like the feeling. I prefer an MP5 or a pistol AR.

Lots of people love the P90.

I've only ever shot a .22 rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun (Ireland doesn't permit any handguns or assault rifles to be owned by a civilian)

If I were to buy only one assault rifle it'd be the G36s.
and If I were to buy a handgun my first would be a Browning Hi-Power.

If I could get any gun it would either be a G36C or an MP5.
Love both of them.
