Another dangerous thing is that, once someone makes their own firearm weather it be a rifle, pistol ETC, is that the grade of metal obviously plays a big role, also home-made firearms have a big tendancy to fire once, and again, and again..until it id fired for maybe the 6th time and it un-expectidly blows the barrel to pieces.

Also great care should be taken on the life of the barrel, on a replica that has been converted to fire live ammo.

If this was going to be attempted i suggest trying to get hold of a 'de-activated' firearm, it will be more expensive but obviously the gun will have been fired many times, and will have been designed to fire live rounds..when alot of replica or blank firing gun manufacturers purposely use lower grade metal so it will no way take the pressure and heat genertated by firing any kind of live round.

I would not play with replica's to be honest seems to dangerous to me, I feel that if I was ever to this then I would go about building from scratch (or semi from scratch an 80% receiver or what not!)

EDIT sub thread 1 -laser pulse rifle

Here an "attempt" at a laser pulse rifle. Its first generation for sure. It really looks kinda crude and the pulse part needs some more work. I've got a CO2 tube on order. I'm sure lots of people can say bad things about it, I just hope they post pics of THEIR rifle in the same post.

Do you have any notes on that rifle? As in what laser is being used, the power supply etc. Because it loots to me like a laser pointer powered off mains. Great rifle, But my sharp sticks better...

Looks like a laser pointer? are you serious? I've got lots of laser pointers and none of them look like that.
that tube is a foot long and an inch in diameter, 14 KV homemade power supply.
This is getting - I know theres lots of work to do, It only burns when its pulsed. And it doesn't pulse consistenly, YET.

You show me a laser pointer that can do this 8 feet away on a white paper.
Knowledge test why did I state "white paper"
