I, for one, would DEFINITELY be interested in seeing pics/schematics.

If somebody would help me i would be happy too ,im just not sure how. On another note the candy propellant has shown some definate drawbacks such as inconsistant ignition due to being brittle/hydroscopic and inhibitor seperation from the fuel grain due to shrinkage all leading to CATO. Im currently working on an epoxy based propellant mixture or perhaps kno3 / sorbitol also the 2.5 lb payload is too heavy and the rocket is seriously unstable as of yet the only stable payload flight has carried 8 oz which is not enough i dont belive

Hey I would be willing to offer what I can- which aint much. But I have a vacation at club fed starting next month so i cant offer anything long term. Can you outling the scope of what your hoping to achieve. anything you want to avoid. special limitations, ect.
One thing , a 2.5 lb payload will require a BIG rocket. Nozzel pressure will be more than any NMRA has played with -
Most of the shortcomings you listed above are mainly from inexperience, Once you've made several dozen rockets you will see alot of those problems are easy to overcome.
Don't try to start at the advanced level right off. Start slow --- Make a good and safe test bed first. Remote ignition is a must. To test engines turn the rocket upside down in a hole in the ground. I have had lots of engines blow up. Use a mirror to observe safely.
There are alot of smart , very smart people here. some will be more helpful after they see you help yourself first. Maybe use this thread as a journel or log of your progress, failures, thoughts. Details, Details.
It can be dangerous - I had a rocket come back and find me once. Craziest thing i've ever seen. Another one flew up 5 feet and then just kinda hovered doing 360 spins in an 8 inch circle. Center of gravity problem.

You guys might like this:

It's pretty detailed albeit there are no blue prints there are a lot of close ups of how the RPG operates.
