Im on a very old and slow connection so sadly no video for me but im very interested in it and am wondering how long did it take to learn and have you ever used the telo scopic nunchucks

It is like anything in Karate, the longer you study it the better you will be. I played around with them and they are not too hard to learn.

Personally speaking, I would rather fight with open hands than having a nunchaku. I am very much a grappler and I like feeling out my opponent. Nanchaku in my opinion is a very specific way of fighting and does not leave as many options as an open hand. They do massive damage, but anyone who has trained in a good system can duplicate the damage with a strike from the hand.

While I agree with you I think if I was learning nunchuku it would be for the novelty of it rather than pracitcalities as you will get Assault with a deadly weapon.

That is a good point. You can beat someone with your hands and it is only a fight. But if you beat someone with a nunchaku then it could be a more serious charge.
