Exclamation war wounds.

Alright people. After reading through and posting myself on this topic,I find there's plenty of styles and disciplines out there being used/practiced.So whether it be in the ring on the street or in a real combat zone,Some if not all of us here have gotta have been injured right?.Well unless your super human that is and a dead hard bastard.(If thats you,you may as well stop reading this nowoundSo i was wondering whats been your worst injury/s?.Mine personally was a 5.56mm round through the groin!.The bastard almost blew me pecker off.I'd love to say i was charging a sub gun post single handily after my entire section had been wiped out!But that would be the planets biggest whopper!.
It was in fact a negligent discharge. We were doing a routine patrol of a small kosovan village. When my buddy, convinced he had a stoppage started fucking around with his famas (ass.rifle).So while i was covering him i turned round to see what the fuck was taking so long.To my horror and disgust the berk's got the bastard thing pointing in my direction!.Next nano second BANG,PAIN,BLOOD (LOTS OF!).And total frigging fright.First thought "Oh jesus me dicks gone".With that thought if i could have spoke,i would have asked the gloit to put another in my head!.As it turns out me dick an balls survived!Blew my hip and femoral artery to shit though(Thank god for uber fast medics). So that was the end of that tour!.If by any chance your reading this marco.Stick to catapults.Mind you you'd probably take my bloody eye out!
So if any of you guys have got/been fucked up along the way.Let us know about it.Cant be as funny as almost losing your dick!. cheers
legio patria nostra.

Ya some of them have been a liitle hard to read man.
If they weren't worth reading I wouldn't care, but they are.
Man a bullet through your femeral artery, damn right lucky you had medics on hand quick. A man can bleed out through the femeral artery in about 5 min.
Maybee the relief of knowing you still had your package slowed your heart rate down!!

Thumbs up Re: war wounds.

Your probably right about still having me packet slowing me heart rate down!. And bleeding out within 5 Min's or less your absolutely right mate.
What i can remember through a morphine induced haze was the medic, scalpel in hand opening the wound further( slicing diagonally, say another 15-20 cm's) pulling the artery up and out and clamping it. Next if recollection serves me right it was in with the iv. Then i err wimped out!..
Sorry about some of my previous post's lay outs being well, basically tatty, But your talking to a guy who in a nutshell couldn't see the point or attraction of pc's till about 3 month ago! No frigging excuse i know. But 1. still have probs typing and English wasn't my best subject. And 2. I kinda get carried away typing and dont stop to check.
The reason I'm offering up an explanation too yourself is, The couple of posts/replies we've exchanged, you seem like a switched on lad. So there ya go!!
Anyway you picked up any war wounds along the way?. let us know eh.
P.S. A burst lip dont count!!!!

There's a picture of my car on Bombshock after I flipped it off an ten-foot high embankment (onto the road between Tower and Blarney, for all you Corkonians). I broke a rib, collapsed a lung and, worst of all, did serious damage to my brain when I fractured my skull. I can't remember most of that year, and I'm still not 100% in the brain-department, and I'm permantently deaf in my right ear, but fortunately I am invincible.
