Here are some must have items if you build a survival cabin in the woods where there is no water line and no power line.
Here is a cheap solar panel - http://www.solar4power.com/solar-power-devices.html It will run a small television or radio. It might also be enough to power a small refrigerator long enough to keep food cold. Many people probably do not like the idea of pooping in the woods, so here is a compose toilet. It does not need any water to work- http://www.sun-mar.com/prod_self_exce.html If you want hot water and there is no electricity, these wood furnaces will generate hot water for showers. Connect them to a well with a hand pump, and fill the tanks and let the wood heat the water. http://www.thesustainablevillage.com...yCat/11/24/74/ It is possible to have modern luxeries in the middle of the woods. It just takes a little planning. |
