Well i have checked all the online databases and i cant realy find many for my particular area so i am wondering what is the best way of getting police frecuencys?I was thinking of parking the car in there car park and just turning on the scanner,Any other ideas

Well, if you have a radar detector in your car, then when it goes off you know there is a cop around. Then start scanning, maybe you'll pick up the frequency.
Don't know much about the subject, just an idea.

well I'm not sure where you live, the police use a new digital system with scrambling called TETRA. It also uses two channels, one for send and one for recieve.
